30.12.04 - UK PC Net Design Launches
UK PC Net Design, the new website development brand from UK PC Net, has today successfully launched. Originally planned for launch in the summer of this year, the sale of the shared and reseller web hosting brands forced this project to be out on hold until a more suitable time.

UK PC Net Design offers affordable website development solutions to both personal and business clientele. UK PC Net Design already has two contracts to build websites and it has got off to great start. The UK PC Net Design team has also already built all the UK PC Net websites and the Xcellweb Hosting Services Website.

UK PC Net see this UK PC Net Design as the ideal brand to launch at this present time. We continually have requests for web design solutions and we believe there is a niche market that we are entering, which demands affordable and powerful website development solutions.

We are now pleased to be able to offer this service and hope that our success in other ventures will also continue with UK PC Net Design.

24.09.04 - Web Identity Complete Acquisition Of UK PC Hosting & UK Reseller
Australian web hosting company, Web Identity, have today completed the acquisition of UK PC Hosting and UK Reseller from UK PC Net.

In recent months, UK PC Net have seen an increase in clientele for all services, which has left increased the amount of resources needed to support our clients and ensure that our services run smoothly

We have therefore decided to move away from the hosting industry and concentrate more on our ShoutCast and Dedicated Server brands. Therefore, we have sold our shared and reseller hosting brands, clientele and domain names to Web Identity.

We believe that Web Identity have shown a great understanding of our customers needs and the brands ethics. They have also shown a great enthusiasm and willingness to continue to support our clients to the highest level.

They have invested a lot of resources and time into the acquisition and it has been very pleasing to see that the migration process have gone very successfully so far.

We are confident that existing and new clients of both brands will be very happy with the changes that have taken place.

Due to the acquisition, UK ShoutCast will no longer be able to provide free web hosting accounts as part of the service. Existing customers who have taken advantage of the free accounts will remain unaffected for the time being, and will be emailed with further details in the near future.

UK PC Net would like to personally thank our past clients for making the two ventures the success they were. We would also like to take this opportunity to offer thanks to James Biviano of Web Identity, for making the acquisition as simple as possible and for the level of professionalism and communication shown throughout the deal.

01.08.04 - UK PC Net Slogan Changed
As you may have already noticed, we have now changed the company slogan from "Powering The UK Web" to "Powering The UK Web Since 2002". This is to place emphasis on the fact we have been in business for over 2 years now, which we are very proud of. We believe it is refreshing for people to see that a company involved with hosting/server related services that has been around for years, due to the fact there so many "fly by night" web hosts etc that only last a matter of months, sometimes even weeks.

UK PC Net today celebrates its second birthday! Yes, it was 2 years ago today that Net:Music (which became UK PC Net at the end of 2002) re-opened offering ShoutCast streaming servers and web hosting. We thank all our customer for your continued custom and hope you continue to enjoy your services!

UK PC Net have today launched our dedicated server brand, UK DediServ. UK DediServ will offer servers located in both Europe and the United States with prices starting from just £69 per month! With free setup, a wide range of control panels available, fast setup times and the highest quality networks, backed up the great UK PC Net customer services team, UK DediServ is sure to be a hit.
 
22.02.04 - UK ShoutCast Launches Advertising Campaign
This morning at 00:00 UK ShoutCast began advertising on Google AdWords. This is aimed to boost the customer base and make people more aware of the fact that there is a top class UK ShoutCast streaming provider. If successful, UK PC Net plan to extend this form of advertising to its others brands, which currently include UK Reseller, UK PC Hosting, UK DediServ and Euro ShoutCast.

03.01.04 - UK PC Net Announces Future Plans
UK PC Net, the parent company of UK ShoutCast, the official UK number 1 ShoutCast provider as well as UK PC Hosting and UK Reseller, has today announced its schedule for Q1 an Q2 2004. This period will see the launch of 2 brand new services and 1 major service extension.
The first new service will be Web Design UK. Web Design UK will aim to change the face of web design and make it affordable for both public and small businesses alike.
The second new service will be UK DediServ. UK DediServ will offer full dedicated servers with low prices starting from just £69 per month!
The next major service extension will be the decision to allow adult websites to be run via packages from UK PC Hosting. This feature will cost just £10 extra per month and will place us as one of the cheapest adult web hosts in the world!
All services are still only in planning stages and may be details amended before launch.
